Manga

Manga refers to a style of comic or graphic novel that originated in Japan. It is characterized by its unique art style, which often features expressive characters and detailed backgrounds, as well as its variety of genres, including action, romance, fantasy, horror, and more. Manga is typically serialized, appearing in magazines before being collected into volumes called tankōbon. It is read from right to left, maintaining traditional Japanese reading order. Manga has become a significant cultural export, influencing comics and graphic novels worldwide and often serving as the basis for anime adaptations. The term “manga” can also refer to the medium itself, encompassing both the art form and the stories conveyed through it.
